in April 2006. It came about after a career change. Some of my friends are electricians and none like doing electrical testing. They suggested
That I set up a dedicated electrical testing company and I would attract plenty of work. I retrained and set up over the space of a year and now here we
are with over 350 satisfied clients.
Who is thepat|man?
thepat|man is me, Rob Eaglesfield. I started the business in 2006 and registered the website at the same time. At the moment there is only me and I am not affilliated with any other individual or company with a similar name. I am a qualified electrician with, additionally, City & Guilds 2377 which is the qualification specific to PAT testing.
What is www.thepatman.co.uk?
It's my website that I set up in 2006, where I hope you will find plenty of information about me, my service, PAT testing, electrical safety and electricity in general. It has nothing to do with a company called "The Patman.co.uk ltd" registered in Gloucester in 2008. In fact that company has nothing to do with www.patman.co.uk as confirmed by Pat, that site's owner. We are both confused by the choice of name that that company has chosen. If you run that company we would both be fascinated to know why. Neither I nor Pat have our respective domains for sale.
